New Leash On Life

We tether train our pups vigorously.  Pointers, taught to walk in concert with their handlers early in life adjust to the rythem of their gate with ease and progressively turn joint outdoor treks into eagerly anticipated treats.

A dog is one of the remaining reasons why some people can be persuaded to go for a walk.

Westminster, "Best of Breed”,  2016, "Look-Alike", Starter Pup.  (Lounging Left)

The GSP is celebrated for its obliging, cheery, disposition.

The German Shorthaired Pointer at an early age is instinctually inclined to become housebroken.  Unless, beset by some tummy upset or emotional duress they won't defecate near where they eat.  They'll lure you to the closest exit door…  whimper, whine and push their way enthusiastically outdoors.  Be sure to praise them for their behavior.

German Shorthaired Pointers require a lot of exercise.  They are one of the most energetic pf all breeds.  Remember they were cultivated for hunting and endurance.  They need plenty of spirited exercise like running, playing frisbie, swimming, hiking, playing fetch, frisbee and so on.

German Shorthaired Pointers are devout companions.  They are say many vets, one the most intelligent canine breeds. They crave affection require robust interaction with their owners.  They inevitably become depressed or suffer from separation anxiety if left alone for extended periods.
